Kagura is one of the highest elevated snow resorts in Japan, and each year receives one of the earliest snowfalls. It is also one of the few resorts that operates as early as November to accommodate the early birds.

Naeba is one of the largest and most popular snow resorts in Japan, visited by hundreds of thousands of people every year. Snow machines make ski/snowboarding possible this time of the year allowing you to enjoy and shake out those rusty legs.

Friday (Dec 18)

• Meet the group in Shinjuku at 7:30pm
• Get on the bus
• Have a relaxing drink, chat with other members and get excited
• Short stop for food/snacks on the way
• Arrive in Naeba around 11:15pm
• Check-in at the hotel
• Go straight to sleep (or lobby for some drinks)

Saturday (Dec 19)

• Breakfast at 7:30am
• Get the gear on
• Ski/snowboarding at Kagura or Naeba (8:30am-5pm)
• Take a hot shower/bath or visit the local onsen nearby
• Relax at the hotel/have some drinks
• Dinner at 6pm
• Mingle with some people

Sunday (Dec 20)

• Breakfast at 7:30am
• Get the gear on
• Ski/snowboarding at Kagura or Naeba (8:30am-3:30pm)
• Take a hot shower/bath or visit the local onsen nearby
• Change clothes/get ready
• Get on the bus at 4:30pm
• Stop for dinner on the way
• Arrive back in Shinjuku around 8:30pm

• Itinerary may vary due to the weather, traffic conditions, and other unavoidable circumstances.
• Ski/snowboarding off-piste is strictly prohibited.
• You MUST have your own insurance (health, social, company, etc.) to be able join.
• Rooms will be allocated to your preference.
• Minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 persons per room.
• Male/Female only rooms are available.
• Group of 4-6 friends can have their own room.
• Private room for 2 persons available for an extra fee on a first-come/first-served basis (limited rooms).
• The hotel is located just a 7min walk to Naeba ski resort.
• Shuttle bus from/to hotel/Tashiro will be provided on both days.
• Restaurants and shops in the ski resorts don't accept credit cards so please bring enough cash.
• Lunch not provided but available at the ski resort.
• There will be a 3,000yen fee for ski/snowboard boots JPN size 29.5 and above.
• Free ski/snowboarding lesson is on Saturday (Dec 19) from 9:30am until 12pm at Naeba ski resort.
• Lift pass will not be provided if you avail the beginner/first-timer discount.
• You don't need a lift pass to join our free ski/snowboarding lessons. However, if you're a fast learner and would want to ride the chairlifts, you can buy a "ride ticket" which costs around 300-350yen per ride. On average, beginners only take the chairlifts 4-5 times the entire weekend. Some beginners, not at all!
• We will try to accommodate all dietary requirements. However, we are unable to guarantee the hotel/lodge can cater for every meal.
• Soap, shampoo and rinse are provided in the bath (ofuro).
• Towels available for rent at the lodge for 200yen.
• You can send your gear by delivery service (takkyubin) to the hotel. Address will be provided upon request.
• You must check out of your room before 10am on Sunday (Dec 20), and put your belongings in the luggage room before going ski/snowboarding.
• Final details will be sent to the participants by email two days before the event.
