  • Okutama Festival (4:30pm-7)

Trip Itinerary

  • Meet the group at Shiromaru station (Ome Line) at 12:52pm
  • Short walk to Shiromaru public parking
  • Get the gear on
  • Safety talk and learn the basic paddling technique
  • Kayaking or SUP boarding (1:30pm-4)
  • Take a hot shower/enjoy a coffee or some beers
  • Get on the local train to Okutama
  • Enjoy the Okutama Festival
  • Try the local onsen (Optional)
  • Watch the Okutama Fireworks Festival
  • Take the 8:36pm train back to Tokyo

Important Notes

  • Itinerary may vary due to the weather, and other unavoidable circumstances.
  • You MUST have your own insurance (health, social, company, etc.) to be able to join.
  • Please make sure you have lunch beforehand. There will be no time to buy some food and eat before the kayaking/SUP boarding tour.
  • The current of the river we will be kayaking (or SUP boarding) on is gentle.
  • Kayaking (or SUP boarding) first-timers and beginners are totally welcome!
  • All gear and equipment for kayaking or SUP boarding are provided.
  • The trip will proceed on time with or without you so please don't be late. Check your train times beforehand and spare some time as train connections can be complicated.
  • You can go back to Tokyo after kayaking (or SUP boarding) if you have other plans.
  • Final details will be sent to the participants two days before the event.
