Airfare is NOT INCLUDED in the package in order to make sure you get the most convenient flights that suit your schedule and budget. Airfares will vary depending on the availability at the time of booking. You can book a round-trip plane tickets to Sapporo for as low as 13,600yen (if you book early) and as high as 60,000yen (if you book last minute).

Trip Itinerary

Friday (Feb 7)

  • Meet our staff at Shin-Chitose airport (outside Skymark arrival gate) between 8:30am until 9:30pm (Please book a flight arriving around this time)
  • See the Sapporo Snow Festival (Optional) *Only possible if your flight arrives before 6pm
  • Get on the bus at 10:15pm
  • Arrive in Niseko Hirafu around 0:15am
  • Check-in at the lodge

Saturday (Feb 8)

  • Breakfast at 7:30am
  • Get the gear on
  • Ski/snowboarding at Niseko (8:30am-5pm)
  • Visit one of the nice onsens nearby
  • Group dinner at one of the restaurants (not provided)
  • Visit one of the local bars/clubs

Sunday (Feb 9)

  • Breakfast at 7:30am
  • Get the gear on
  • Ski/snowboarding at Niseko (8:30am-5pm) or join the optional day trip to Kiroro (7:30am-5:30pm)
  • Visit one of the nice onsens nearby

Monday (Feb 10)

  • Get on your scheduled bus from Hirafu Welcome Center
  • Arrive back at Shin-Chitose airport an hour before your flight

Important Notes

  • Itinerary may vary due to the weather, traffic conditions, and other unavoidable circumstances.
  • You MUST have your own insurance (health, social, company, etc.) to be able to join. You can also buy ski/snowboard insurance online to make sure you're fully covered [WorldNomads.com].
  • Your return flight must be 12:30pm or later to avoid paying 4,000yen extra for an express bus.
  • It takes about 3.5hours from Niseko Hirafu Welcome Center to Sapporo airport by local bus. Bus departure times are 8am, 10am, 2:10pm, 3:10pm and 4:10pm (May subject to change)
  • Rooms will be allocated to your preference.
  • Rooms with beds will be allocated on a first-come/first-served basis.
  • Minimum of 4 and maximum of 5 persons for shared rooms.
  • Male/Female only rooms are available.
  • Group of friends can have their own room.
  • Twin bed rooms available for an extra 1,500yen/person/night (limited rooms).
  • Our lodge is located just a 10min walk to the closest chairlift and onsen.
  • Private shuttle bus (every 30mins) to/from lodge - main town or ski resort in the morning between 8:30am-10, and in the afternoon/evening between 3:30pm-9:30.
  • Some restaurants and shops in the ski resorts don't accept credit cards so please bring enough cash.
  • You can send your gear by delivery service (takkyubin) to the lodge. Address will be provided upon request.
  • You must check out of your room before 10am on Tuesday (Feb 11). You can put your luggages in the cloak room (for a small fee) at Hirafu Welcome Center if you're planning on ski/snowboarding that day.
  • This trip involves long time preparation, a year in advance lodge booking and a lot of logistics so cancellation fee is different from our normal cancellation policy. Cancellation made 10 days (or earlier) before the trip incurs a 10,000yen cancellation fee. Cancellation made 2-9 days before the trip incurs a 20,000yen cancellation fee. No refund for cancellation a day before the trip or on the day.
  • Final details will be sent to the participants by email two days before the event.
