Trip Itinerary

Friday (Jan 11)

  • Meet in Shinjuku at 7:30pm
  • Get on the bus
  • Have some drinks, chat with other members and get excited
  • Short stops for food/snacks on the way
  • Arrive in Nozawa Onsen around 0:30am
  • Check-in at the lodge

Saturday (Jan 12)

  • Breakfast at 7:30am
  • Get the gear on
  • Ski/snowboarding (8:30am-5pm)
  • Visit one of the FREE public onsens or the nice paid ones
  • Relax at the lodge/have some drinks
  • Dinner at 6pm
  • Apres-ski party at one of the local bars

Sunday (Jan 13)

  • Breakfast at 7:30am
  • Get the gear on
  • Ski/snowboarding (8:30am-5pm)
  • Visit one of the FREE public onsens or the nice paid ones
  • Relax at the lodge/have some drinks
  • Dinner at 6pm
  • Apres-ski party at one of the local bars

  • Watch the Dosojin Fire Festival (7:30pm-10)

Wednesday (Jan 16)

  • Breakfast at 7:30am
  • Check-out of your room before 10am
  • Ski/snowboarding (if you have time)
  • Visit one of the FREE public onsens or the nice paid ones (if you have time)
  • Change clothes/get ready
  • Take the shuttle bus to Iiyama station (not provided)
  • Get on the shinkansen back to Tokyo (not provided)

Important Notes

  • Itinerary may vary due to the weather, traffic conditions, and other unavoidable circumstances.
  • Ski/snowboarding off-piste is strictly prohibited.
  • You MUST have your own insurance (health, social, company, etc.) to be able join.
  • Rooms will be allocated to your preference.
  • Minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 persons per room.
  • Male/Female only rooms are available.
  • Group of friends can have their own room.
  • Private room for 2 persons available for an extra fee on a first-come/first-served basis (limited rooms).
  • Our lodge is located just a couple of minutes walk to/from Nagasaka gondola.
  • Lunch not provided but available at the ski resort.
  • Free ski/snowboarding lesson is on Saturday (Jan 12) from 9:30am until 12pm.
  • We will try to accommodate all dietary requirements. However, we are unable to guarantee the hotel/lodge can cater for every meal.
  • Soap, shampoo and rinse are provided in the bath (ofuro).
  • Towels available for rent at the lodge for 200yen.
  • You can send your gear by delivery service (takkyubin) to the hotel. Address will be provided upon request.
  • You must check out of your room before 10am on Wednesday (Jan 16), and put your belongings in the luggage room before going ski/snowboarding.
  • Transportation back to Tokyo not included in the package.
  • Final details will be sent to the participants by email two days before the event.
