What is Tokyo Gaijins?

• Tokyo Gaijins or TG in short is an event club/company. We organize a wide variety of events; outdoors, sports, parties, leisure and recreation, almost everywhere in Japan.
Can Japanese join?

• Yes, everyone is welcome to join regardless of nationality.
Can I join an event on my own?

• Yes, you can join alone! 20% of the participants on each event join on their own and made friends.
What is the average age bracket?

• The average age is around 30. The oldest participant that joined an event so far is age 68 and the youngest is 12.
What is the Foreigners/Japanese ratio?

• The ratio is around 80% foreigners and 20% Japanese.
What is the male/female ratio?

• More girls than guys in this group. The ratio is around 45% male and 55% female.
How many members?

• We don't have an official no. of members but we have a total of around 4,900 email addresses on our mailing list.
How to join and become a member?

• It is really simple! Just read the group's membership guidelines and join the mailing list.
Is there any fee?

• There's no membership fee . You only need to pay for the event you want to join in.
Is this a non-profit organization?

• No its not! This is an event club/company. We organize cool events (outdoor activities, sports, parties, etc.) and charge every participants a fee.
Is this a travel company?

• No, we are not a travel company. We are an event club/company organizing events for foreigners and Japanese who wants to hangout and meet foreigners, here in Japan.
How much an event usually cost?

• The cheapest event is 1,000yen and the most expensive is 50,000yen.
Do I have to pay the event fee in advance or should I just show up on the day at the meeting spot with the cash?

• Some events you can pay on the day but most requires full payment by bank transfer ASAP after signing up. Payment will guarantee your spot on the event. Most of the events we organize get fully-booked in no time so you should pay as soon as the organizer acknowledge your participation.
